Sharts

It was lockdown, a minor internet hit singer suggested their fans draw a picture of him. I had 5 minutes, I thought it would be a laugh after all, what’s the worst that could happen? I’ve never been particularly good at drawing and what not, so why not have a bit of fun?

I tried another couple, limiting my self to drawing at a maximum of 10 minutes per image. According to the subject this picture has a “naive charm”, mind you so did Eddie in The Rocky Horror Show and look what happened to him.

It got worse, the need for amusement grew strong. I went look at photos of my friends on Facebook, because… I wanted to draw more, it was laughing too much. It wasn’t enough, I made more. I put these on Facebook and my neighbour said I could draw a couple of her, on the condition I used two particular photos.

I created a Facebook group called Sharts and added the most frightening image so far. A friend sporting large googly eyes. I don’t think I’m going to stop, I even did one of myself. Be afraid, be very afraid.
